Short, because the counter does one thing. The important part is the boundary between what this counter promises and what an operator promises. Reviewed August 8, 2026.
Who this is
Holdyard is Holdyard LLC, a limited liability company registered with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions, with its office at 219 North Milwaukee Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202, telephone +1 (414) 431-6802, and Marta Vosberg running the counter. The same details are on about and in the footer of every page.
Holdyard books parking and nothing else, as an independent service provider. No airline, hotel chain, government agency or other brand is affiliated with it. None endorses it. None sponsors it, and it owns and operates no lot of its own.
What is being agreed
Using this site, or sending a request through it, means accepting the description below.
This counter's promise is a document. A free quote in nine fixed items, and a dated record placed with an operator on your instruction. That is what it charges nothing for and that is what it stands behind.
A reservation here is a record and a request. It is a dated note that an operator has been asked to expect a car on named dates, carrying whichever answers the operator gave. It is not a contract with the operator, not a title to any particular piece of ground, and not a guarantee that ground of any category is free on arrival. What a hold does sets the three apart.
The operator's terms govern the ground. Everything about the car once it is on a lot, and everything about money the lot charges, is between you and that operator under its own terms.
Money
No money passes between you and Holdyard LLC at any point. No charge for a quote, a reservation, a change or a cancellation. There is no card field anywhere on this site, and no page here accepts a card number, a bank detail or a government identity number.
Holdyard LLC is paid a commission by an operator when a reservation is honored, which is disclosed on about and changes nothing about what you pay the operator.
What is not promised, in plain words
Not that covered ground will be free. Not that anyone is on a lot overnight. Not that any ground is watched or attended. Not that a shuttle wait will be any particular length. Not that a place is available today. Not any insurance of a vehicle or its contents, from this counter or arranged by it. Not any work on a standing car of any kind.
Eight of the nine claims on what is on offer are marked not stated, and each names who would have to confirm it. What nobody confirms covers the two questions that stay closed.
Accuracy and its limits
Rates move, lots fill, operators change hands and answers go stale. Every price on this site is a range with the date it was reviewed, and every operator answer in a quote carries the date it was given. To the extent the law allows, this site is offered as it stands, and Holdyard LLC does not promise that any figure or answer is current for a particular day.
So far as liability cannot be shut out altogether, its ceiling is whatever sum has passed from you to Holdyard LLC, and that sum is zero.
Using the site sensibly
Read it, print it, send a request. Please do not try to break the site, harvest it in bulk, or turn the request form into a way of messaging strangers. Holdyard LLC may decline correspondence that is abusive or automated, and may decline a request it cannot honestly answer.
Other people's names
No operator, airline, airport, transit body or public authority is named on this site, and none endorses it. Where an operator's own words appear, they appear as an attributed quotation and the operator is unnamed until a hold is placed.
Which law
Wisconsin law applies, and the courts of that state are where a dispute would be heard. Where the law of your own home gives you something that an agreement cannot take away, this paragraph does not take it away either.
Changes to this page
The date above is when it was last reviewed. A change that narrows what a reader gets is dated on corrections rather than made quietly. Questions to counter@thelanternatlas.com.
