The counter answers Monday to Saturday between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm Central. Outside those hours a request waits in the queue with the time it arrived on it. Nobody here claims to answer at every hour, because nobody here does.

What happens outside hours

A request that arrives at two in the morning waits in the queue with the time it arrived on it, and is answered in arrival order on the next posted day. Nothing is lost and nothing jumps ahead.

This counter does not claim to answer at every hour. 24_7 is marked not stated on the claims sheet, and the reason given there is the plain one: there is no person on a line at three in the morning.

What the counter can do on the telephone

Take the same details the request form takes, put the same questions to the lots, and read a quote back by voice once it exists. Everything agreed by voice is sent in writing afterwards, because a voice call is not a record and this counter's product is a record.

What it cannot do, on the telephone or anywhere

Confirm that covered ground will be free. Confirm that anybody is on the ground overnight. Waive an operator's charge. Guarantee a place today. What nobody confirms sets out the first two in full, and the additions table on rates shows exactly which charges belong to whom.

The office

Holdyard LLC keeps a Milwaukee office for correspondence and for taking calls. It is not a lot, no cars are received there, and nothing can be dropped off or collected. The ground a car stands on belongs to an operator, and the reservation names it once a hold is placed.
